At One Happy Home, we believe furniture should be thoughtfully made, built to last, and enjoyed for years to come. In a world that often leans toward disposability, we take pride in offering well-crafted pieces that support both long-term use and a more sustainable way of living.

We warrant that our furniture is free from defects in materials and workmanship from the date of delivery, for the warranty period specified for each product, when used under normal residential (non-commercial) conditions and in accordance with proper care guidelines.

Warranty Exclusions & Limitations

While we stand by the quality of our products, certain exclusions apply. This warranty does not cover damage or issues resulting from:

Normal wear and tear over time
Wear and tear of wheels, caps, and moving components
Improper, excessive, or abusive use
Incorrect assembly or servicing by unauthorised personnel
Use of residential furniture for commercial or project purposes
Exposure to excessive heat, moisture, liquids, or harsh cleaning agents
Colour changes or fading due to sunlight exposure
Damage from sharp, hot, damp, or heavy objects
Environmental factors such as extreme humidity, dryness, temperature, or light
Vandalism, theft, impact damage, or accidents
Damage or stains caused by pets, mould, moisture, or heat sources
Stains from bodily fluids, cosmetics, hair or skincare products
Discolouration caused by medication or chemical reactions
Use of products containing acids, alcohol, or solvents
Unauthorised cleaning, repairs, alterations, or modifications
Water marks, moisture rings, or condensation left unattended
Inherent characteristics of natural materials
Poor or improper maintenance

Understanding Natural Materials

Many of our pieces are thoughtfully crafted using natural and hand-finished materials such as reclaimed wood, recycled metals, stone, and marble. As a result, each item may display natural variations including grain patterns, knots, hairline cracks, oxidation marks, colour variations, or subtle distressing.

These characteristics are a beautiful and expected part of natural materials and craftsmanship. They do not affect the structural integrity or functionality of the furniture and are not considered defects under this warranty.

INDOOR FURNITURE AND UPHOLSTERY (not warranted for outdoor use)

Product Category	Exclusions and Details
Wood Furniture	We warrant wooden frames against breakage due to defects in material or workmanship. Natural features such as knots, joint lines, minor splits, and grain variations are inherent to wood and are not defects. This warranty does not cover damage caused by extreme changes in humidity, including expansion or contraction.
Office Chairs	Chair frames are covered against breakage due to material or manufacturing defects.
Mechanical Components	Includes drawer runners, door hinges, table extensions, locks, cranks, wheels, castors, and electrical components. Normal wear over time is not covered.
Metal Furniture, Marble & Stone Tabletops, Glass & Mirror Components	Covered for structural issues such as broken frames, loose joints, or welds. This warranty does not cover rust, tarnishing, scratches, glass breakage, or natural changes in stone colour or texture.
Sofa, Sectional, Chair & Ottoman Frames and Spring Systems	Frames and spring support systems are covered against breakage caused by defects in construction materials or workmanship.
Fabric and Leather Cushions	Cushions naturally soften and conform to the user’s shape with regular use. This is considered normal and not a manufacturing defect.

Outdoor Furniture

Our outdoor collections are designed to withstand outdoor conditions while providing comfort and style. However, proper care is essential.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by:

Normal wear and tear
Accidents, misuse, or neglect
Natural disasters or extreme weather
Prolonged exposure to harsh environments (e.g. coastal areas)
Improper storage or lack of protective care
To extend the life of your outdoor furniture, we strongly recommend:
Covering furniture when not in use for extended periods
Cleaning and drying furniture before covering
Storing cushions indoors in a dry environment

Product Category	Exclusions and Details
All Weather Wicker, Metal & Teak	Rust, tarnishing, peeling, or blistering finishes due to environmental exposure are not covered. Natural teak will weather into a silvery-grey patina over time—this is a natural process and not a defect.
Outdoor Cushion & Fabric	Softening and shaping of cushions due to regular use is normal and not considered a defect.
Concrete & Stone Tabletops / Fire Tables	Cracking, surface changes, blistering, or peeling of finishes are not covered.

Warranty Definition

This Limited Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser for residential use. The warranty becomes void if the furniture is:

Used commercially
Misused or improperly handled
Reupholstered or modified
Repaired by parties not authorised by One Happy Home

Proper use and care are essential to maintain warranty coverage.

Warranty Service

If a product defect is confirmed, One Happy Home will, at its discretion:

Repair the item, or
Provide a replacement or equivalent product

Exact replacements cannot always be guaranteed. If the original item is unavailable, a comparable item of similar value and style will be offered.

Please note:

Cash refunds are not provided under warranty
Liability is limited to the original purchase price
Proof of purchase is required
Repaired or replaced items are covered only for the remaining warranty period

Warranty Limitations

This Limited Warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty provided. It replaces all other express or implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

One Happy Home shall not be liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of its products. This warranty applies solely to the original purchaser and may not be transferred, extended, or modified by any representative.

Any breach of these warranty terms will render the warranty null and void.
