 I. PRODUCT INFORMATION:

One Happy Home endeavor to ensure that all the products on our website are accurately described, and we rely on information provided to us by our suppliers. Unfortunately, on some occasions, it is possible that there may be information on our site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, promotions, offers, product shipping charges, transit times and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions, and to change or update information or cancel orders if any information in the Service or on any related site is inaccurate at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order). We undertake no obligation to update, amend or clarify information in the Services and/or Site or on any related website, including without limitation, pricing information, except as required by law.

Additionally, we endeavor to ensure that all colors are displayed accurately, but you should be aware that colors may appear slightly differently on different displays and screens. Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ from the actual product. Due to differences in monitors, colors of products may also appear different to those shown on the site. 

All solid wood products use natural materials and variation in color, texture and grain is to be expected. Grains, cracks, and knots are natural occurrences and are not deemed as defective. Please note that every tree has it owns authentic grain pattern reaction and therefore wood grain inconsistency is not a flaw, relatively an indication of solid wood ingenuity. The unique character of each wood slab means that uniformity, tone or color throughout the wood surface cannot be guaranteed.

Aging woods will show a slight discoloration over its life from the time of purchase due to the changes of room temperatures and exposure to sunlight. 

 

II. LEAD TIME: 

No cancellation of orders due to delayed fulfillment.

Lead times for made to order pieces or backorder pieces are approximately 3 - 6 weeks (small pieces) or 6 - 10 weeks (large pieces), unless otherwise stated. While we do our best to ensure the timely fulfillment of your orders accordingly, external factors beyond our control may lead to delays.

An estimated lead time will be provided, lead time is an estimate and not an guarantee and orders may not be cancelled due to delayed fulfillment. Lead time can be delayed due numerous factors such as freight delays, unstable weather, global pandemics, and other unforeseen circumstances. 

 

III. DELIVERY INFORMATION: 

We agree to deliver goods to you on the understanding that reasonable access is available. It is your responsibility to check measurements to ensure that your items will fit through the doorways or passageways leading to your delivery location.

If there are obstructions to direct lift access experienced during delivery, the Delivery Team will assess whether it is possible to perform carry-up service on the spot (and bill the charges later) or to reschedule delivery. This is dependent on the number of items to be delivered, manpower, hazard assessment as well as other operational considerations.

Carry-up service fee is $20/storey. One Happy Home reserves the right to reject the service if it is found unsafe to do so. 

If the Delivery Team determines that delivery has to be rescheduled, there will be a restocking fee of 10%.

Timeslots

​Our in-home deliveries and installation service will be scheduled into different timeslots (e.g, 9:00-15:00 or 16:00-22:00) and we’re unable to deliver at specific timing (like exactly 10:00 or exactly 16:00).

 

IV. DELAYED DELIVERY DUE TO UNFORESEEN SITUATIONS: 

Shipping your items on time is extremely important to us. We do our best to provide your items on time. Though in the event of delay in shipment due to unforeseen situations, One Happy Home reserves the right to reschedule the delivery, subjected to the availability of delivery slots.

One Happy Home shall not be liable for any consequences or any loss suffered or expenses incurred (whether direct or indirect) due to the delay in the shipment / delivery of the goods.

 

V. DEFECTIVE / RETURNS / EXCHANGES:

Change of Mind

Please choose carefully as refunds are not normally provided where you have simply changed your mind, made a wrong selection or simply found the items cheaper elsewhere. We recommend you carefully preview any orders before proceeding with your order.

Return Policy

We advise our customers to inspect the items carefully for damages when we deliver and install the items. Though rare, there is a possibility of manufacturing defects or even furniture being damaged during transportation. For minor defective goods, we will arrange for our team to do a touch up as soon as possible, subject to our earliest schedule. For major defects (broken wood, cracked glass etc.) we are able to provide a one-time replacement. The replacement item may take 3-5 weeks for ready-made items or 5-10 weeks for custom-made items.

Request for return directly at our specified address without prior arrangement will not be entertained.

All products qualify for a return except for the following: 

  • Customized products
  • Products that require on-site assembly
  • Modular wardrobes
  • Bedroom sets
  • Products that are not in its new and original unopened condition
  • Products that have been removed from their original packaging, used, stained, torn, washed, discolored, dented, damaged and/or with traces of fragrance or odors.

For all returns to us, there will be a restocking fee of 18% of the total item value to cover for initial delivery costs and other incidental costs. You will also be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the item.

Products should be unused, undamaged, in a resalable condition and with its original packaging fully intact. One Happy Home has the full discretion to decide whether any item is in a condition suitable for return and reserves the right to reject any returns if they are deemed unfit for return. 

Refund Policy

Shipping is a hard cost we incur from our logistics partners. If you decide to return the item, a restocking fee of 18% of the original invoiced value. As such, you will be refunded the following: Purchase Price – 18% invoice value = Refunded Amount (S$).

 

VI. WARRANTY:

1 year warranty, commencing from the date of delivery. We warrant that all furniture be free of defective materials and workmanship. 

If during the warranty period, a product is deemed defective due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair or replace the defected part(s). This Warranty will cover all replacement or repair costs.

For natural materials like Solid wood / Marble / Genuine Leather, if there have natural flaws, cracks, or tree scars these are not considered as a manufacturing defects. 

Limitations and Exceptions:

  • This warranty does not apply if your furniture is damaged by using detergents, abrasives, or other harsh cleaning agents.
  • This warranty does not cover damage resulting from negligence, abuse, normal wear and tear, or accidents: including (but not limited to) burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations, or pet damage.
  • The warranty does not apply if the product is used outdoors.
  • In respect of manufacturing defects detected after the warranty period, the cost of material components and replacement parts, with all labor charges and transportation costs (if any) to be covered by the Customer.
