What to expect if plans change — explained simply and transparently.

We hope you enjoy your furniture shopping experience with One Happy Home. Our goal is to make your journey—from browsing to delivery—as smooth and pleasant as possible.

As with most online purchases, all product images on our website are for illustration purposes. Natural materials such as wood and marble feature unique grains, markings, and patterns, so slight variations between the actual product and website images are to be expected. While our team takes great care to present accurate colours, please note that colours may appear differently depending on individual screen settings. This is considered normal and not a defect.

Kindly also allow a measurement tolerance of 1–3 cm, as all measurements are taken manually.

By placing an order with us, you acknowledge and agree to the policies outlined below.


Change of Mind

We encourage you to review your order carefully before checking out. As our items are prepared and scheduled for delivery promptly, refunds are generally not provided for change of mind, incorrect selection, or price differences found elsewhere.


Cancellation Policy

Once an order has been successfully placed and processed through checkout, we’re unfortunately unable to make changes or cancellations. This includes (but is not limited to) adding or removing items, combining orders, or cancelling an order.

We truly appreciate your understanding, as this allows us to ensure timely processing and delivery for all customers.


Delivery & Installation

We strive to provide a seamless experience from checkout to installation—so you can leave the heavy lifting to us.

Delivery Charges

  • In-home delivery and installation: S$80 per location
  • Free delivery for orders above S$1,000
  • Special locations (e.g. Sentosa, air bases, SAF camps): additional S$20 per trip

If stair access is required (internal or external), please inform us in advance so we can arrange sufficient manpower. A carry-up fee of S$20 per level applies when lift access is unavailable. This is assessed to ensure the safety of our delivery team and your furniture.

If stair access was not declared prior to delivery, One Happy Home reserves the right to reschedule the delivery. A 10% restocking fee may apply.


Delivery Timeslots

Deliveries and installations are scheduled within time windows (e.g. 9:00–16:00 or 17:00–22:00). While we’re unable to commit to exact timings, our team will notify you approximately 20–30 minutes before arrival.


Estimated Time of Arrival

We always aim to deliver your items as soon as they are ready. However, delivery schedules may be affected by unforeseen circumstances such as traffic conditions, vehicle breakdowns, weather conditions, pandemics, or other logistical challenges.

While punctuality is important to us, we also prioritise the safety of our delivery team. As such, One Happy Home cannot be held liable for delays arising from circumstances beyond our control.


30-Day Free Warehousing

If your items arrive at our warehouse but you’re not ready to receive them, we’re happy to offer 30 days of complimentary warehousing.

Should you require storage beyond 30 days, a fee of S$50 per item per month will apply.

Return Policy

We kindly ask that all items be inspected upon delivery and installation. While uncommon, manufacturing defects or transit damage may occasionally occur.

Requests for returns must be submitted within 5 days of receiving the item. Please contact us to arrange assistance. The following conditions apply:

  1. A 30% restocking fee (based on the item value) applies to all approved returns to cover delivery, handling, and administrative costs. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer.
  2. Only items that are unused, uninstalled, and in original condition may be returned. Items showing signs of wear, damage, alteration, or misuse will not be accepted. One Happy Home reserves full discretion in determining whether an item qualifies for return.
  3. For minor defects, we will arrange a touch-up service. For major defects (e.g. broken wood or cracked glass), a one-time replacement will be provided. Replacement lead times are:
    • 3–5 weeks for ready-made items
    • 5–10 weeks for customised items
  4. Unscheduled returns to our premises without prior arrangement will not be accepted.
  5. The following items are not eligible for return:
    • Customised products
    • Items requiring on-site assembly
    • Wall-mounted items (after installation)
    • Modular wardrobes
    • Leather furniture
    • Marble furniture
    • Bedroom sets
    • Items not in original, unused, and unopened condition
    • Items removed from original packaging or showing stains, damage, odours, or signs of use

 

Refund Policy

Shipping and delivery costs are hard costs incurred with our logistics partners. If a return is approved, a 30% restocking fee will be applied to offset administrative and handling expenses.

Refunds are calculated as follows:
Purchase Price – 30% restocking fee – delivery fee – additional charges (if any)

Refunds exclude fees paid for:

  • Delivery
  • Assembly
  • Staircase carry-up
  • Third-party platform or payment gateway fees
  • Furniture repair or restoration services

Refunds will be processed after the returned item has been collected. Please allow up to 7 business days for processing.

All refunds will be issued in the form of store credits. As a gesture of goodwill, these credits do not expire, giving you flexibility to use them anytime in the future.
